I havn’t posted twice in one one month in a long time…

I limited the palette colors, focusing on low chroma and correct values.  And trying to simplify drawing.

I am really diggin’ the metal band: Spirit Box.  The singer: Courtney Leblanc did a one take vocal of the song: Force The Rule of Nines on Youtube.  These paintings are from that.  The heavy part and mellow part.

September 2016

 

I have been wanting to capture the city fog in a painting.  Sometimes the fog comes in thick and really low, like ocean foam on a beach.  Its really beautiful and special.  I captured it here:
